Spray tanning is a healthier alternative to getting a tan rather than using tanning beds or frying your skin outside and exposing it to harmful UV rays. We use an air brush gun to apply the solution to your skin for a flawless, natural finish.

There is an active ingredient in the solution called dihydroxyacetone (DHA for short). DHA is derived from sugar cane and beets. Once synthesized and fermented by a chemical reaction, it is then purified and used in tanning products. DHA only reacts with the first layer of your skin - your spray tan is not skin deep and is completely cosmetic which is why we stress prep and aftercare.

A spray tan typically lasts 7-10 days depending on your skin’s natural cycle, how well you prep your skin before your session, and how well you keep your skin moisturized afterwards.

You can get a spray tan while pregnant however, Sun-Kissed by Sabrina has a strict policy about not spray tanning women in their first trimester. You must also double check with your doctor prior to coming into your session.

Absolutely! Always recommended two get your spray tan done two days before your vacation. Please make sure to always use SPF as a spray tan is not a “base” and will not protect you from getting a sun burn. A tan extender is also recommended to bring with you as submerging yourself in water for long periods of time ie. hot tubs and pools will fade out your tan faster.

The most honest answer is no, and no other spray tan artist should be telling you otherwise. It is not possible for a spray tan solution to be 100% organic. Solutions are derived from natural ingredients.
